C. Machimbidzofa

Charity Machimbidzofa holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Zimbabwe, a Masters Degree in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance from the Midlands State University in Zimbabwe as well as Organizational Restructuring training from the University Of Georgetown (USA). She has a wealth of 33 years of legal, corporate secretarial and monitoring and evaluation experience gained from Government, ZESA, ZERA, the banking sector and the water and infrastructure sector in Mozambique. Charity’s experience in the energy sector in particular spans over 20 years , having been employed by ZESA as well as the Zimbabwe Electricity Regulatory Commission (ZERC) (ZERA’s predecessor) as Acting Commissioner General, tasked with its set up and operationalization from 2003 to 2008. She joined ZERA in 2015 and has been instrumental in the set up and operationalization of its Monitoring and Evaluation services.
