Dr. T. K. Ncube

Thembelani is aged 52 years and a financial and corporate governance specialist with extensive executive management experience in the mining, energy and manufacturing industries spanning over a period in excess of twenty five years. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies Honours degree [Accounting and Finance] from the University of Zimbabwe and a Masters in Business Administration from the National University of Science and Technology. He also attained a Doctorate in Business Administration with Chinhoyi University of Technology/Binary University of Management and Entrepreneurship of Malaysia. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Governance and Accounting Institute in Zimbabwe and a member of the Company Secretaries Interest Group (SA). Dr. Ncube is currently a Director of Telbot Enterprises (Private) Limited, a company with interests in mining, energy, real estate and farming. He is also Managing Consultant of MT Business Consulting Group. He previously held senior executive positions in finance and corporate services in the mining, manufacturing and financial services industries. He is a current and previous Non-Executive Director of public and private companies in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Dr Ncube participated in the drafting of the National Code on Corporate Governance as a member of the Thematic Committee on state enterprises and parastatals under the Zimbabwe Leadership Forum. Dr. Ncube is currently a Board Member of Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority where he chairs the Finance Committee and is a member of the Electricity and Risk Management Committees.
